Impact test is carried out by hitting the glasses both frontally and sideways by a steel sphere with a diameter of 6 mm and with a minimum mass of 0,86 g at 45 m/s speed (equal to 162 km/h) and at environment temperature of 23 °C, without breaking them. The mentioned test is in compliance with European standard EN 166 and with test method described by European standard EN 168 (Personal eye protection – non-optical test methods).
